Thank you for your interest in sharing your experiences with Wake Forest’s dress codes. This survey is part of Faith & Fashion in the Forest, an oral history project exploring how dress codes shaped campus life at Wake Forest University while the school was still affiliated with the NC Baptist Convention.

Your responses will help us understand not just what the rules were, but how they were actually lived and remembered by students, faculty, and staff. The survey takes about fifteen minutes and includes questions about your memories and experiences.

By participating, you’re granting permission for your responses to be used in research, teaching, and public presentations related to this project. As an oral history project designed to preserve personal stories, your name may be connected to your responses, though you’ll have the option to indicate that you prefer your responses remain confidential, and they will then be shared without your name attached.

You’re free to skip any question or stop at any time. Questions? Contact Professor Lynn S. Neal.

Thank you for helping preserve this important piece of Wake Forest history!
